Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Hourly
Valet Park of America is seeking a dependable, motivated leader to manage valet operations at a ski resort this winter. This is an active role for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, delivering excellent guest service, and keeping a busy operation running smoothly.
The manager will oversee daily valet service, support and train attendants, and serve as an on-site contact for resort staff and VPA management.
This position will be a combination of working 3 weekdays/nights at Sugarbush in Warren, VT, and Killington resort on weekends.
Between the 2 locations and tips being accepted, we expect this position to earn between $20-$30/hour on average.
This is a seasonal role from November through late March. Other opportunities in other areas are also available in the summer months.
Job Responsibilities

Lead daily valet operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, and break coverage.

Work alongside attendants to greet guests, open doors, assist with belongings and ski equipment, and safely park and retrieve vehicles.

Coordinate vehicle staging, traffic flow, and parking areas to keep entrances organized and accessible.

Prepare the team for peak arrival and departure periods, busy weekends, and holiday traffic.

Train and coach employees on guest service, safe vehicle handling, ticket procedures, key security, and professional appearance.

Assist with staff scheduling and communicate coverage needs to VPA management.

Maintain accurate vehicle records and oversee payment collection and daily reconciliation where applicable.

Address guest questions and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Document and promptly report incidents, vehicle damage, safety concerns, and employee matters.

Communicate with resort personnel about operating needs, weather conditions, and changes affecting service.

Monitor snow and ice hazards and coordinate with resort staff to support safe working conditions.

Uphold VPA service standards and lead by example in attendance, teamwork, and accountability.
Ideal Candidate

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably in valet, parking, hospitality, or resort operations.

Strong customer service skills and a welcoming, professional attitude.

Ability to give clear direction, motivate employees, and remain calm during busy periods.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to actively assist the team throughout each shift.

Dependable transportation and consistent availability for weekends and holiday weeks.

Prior experience working in winter conditions is preferred.
Qualifications and Work Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Valid driver’s license held for at least one year, with a driving record that meets VPA’s hiring standards.

Must maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record throughout employment.

Ability to safely operate a variety of guest vehicles; manual transmission experience is preferred.

Must complete VPA’s required background screening and driving evaluation.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and resort personnel.

Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including extended standing and walking, repeatedly entering and exiting vehicles, and assisting with luggage and equipment.

Comfortable working outdoors in cold temperatures, snow, and other winter weather conditions.
