Data Center Superintendent (Electrical Contractor)Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale data center electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for managing daily construction activities, coordinating field crews and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day electrical construction activities on data center projects.

• Supervise foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and trade partners.

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work sequencing.

• Drive project schedules and ensure milestone completion.

• Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate with project management teams.

• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, client, and company safety requirements.

• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and productivity concerns.

• Coordinate inspections, energization activities, commissioning, and project turnover.

• Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower tracking, and progress updates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and project scheduling.

• Ability to lead large field crews in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center or mission-critical construction experience.

• OSHA 30 Certification.

• Experience with commissioning, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and medium-voltage installations.

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Washington, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $130000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
