Job Summary Summary<br>The Linen Tech is responsible for the ordering, stocking and distribution of adequate supplies of clean linen for the hospital.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Distribute all exchange linen carts delivered by the linen company. <br> -Deliver clean linen to any area of the hospital that requires linen and does not receive an exchange cart. <br> -Restock all Physician Office Suites. <br> -Restock 1st and 6th floor OR with scrubs. <br> -Place bulk order with linen company for next delivery. <br> -Submit cancellations. <br> -Consolidate linen and keep area organized. <br> -Work with area and MM leadership to make par level adjustments. <br> -Pick up and distribute lab coats as necessary. <br>

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials

Experience Experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Staff adheres to all I C.A.R.E. Standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English: oral, written and typed.
