Facilities and Grounds Technicican - $42,894 - $57,481/ Year - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Paid Time Off - Pension Plan Duties: - Performs skilled maintenance and repair work on county buildings, equipment, and grounds. - Inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. - Installs and repairs plumbing, electrical fixtures, and computer wiring. - Maintains security, audio/video, power equipment, and communication systems. - Completes carpentry projects, services boilers and locks, assembles and moves furniture, and transports records and supplies. - Maintains grounds by mowing, trimming, snow removal, and performing seasonal cleanup; repairs related equipment. - Clears and treats parking lots and walkways. - Operates various tools and equipment related to maintenance and groundskeeping tasks. - This description is intended to illustrate the type and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this job.
