ELINT Software Systems Engineer Lvl 3/4 - TS/SCI Cleared

Job Description

One of our customers is seeking a technical Senior Systems Engineer to support advanced ELINT mission systems within the Precision organization. This individual will work directly alongside senior engineers and ELINT Architects to support system design, requirements development, troubleshooting, integration, and architectural activities across mission-critical airborne defense systems.

Key Responsibilites:

• Support development, integration, and sustainment of advanced ELINT and airborne mission systems.
• Work alongside senior engineers and ELINT Architects to understand system architecture and mission capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and system-level issues.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements and technical documentation.
• Understand system interfaces and data flows across multiple components and subsystems.
• Support systems integration, verification, validation, and testing activities.
• Assist in technical investigations and root cause analysis efforts.
• Participate in requirements decomposition, interface definition, and architecture reviews.
• Support engineering documentation including interface control documents, technical artifacts, and engineering reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, and Mission Systems personnel.
• Support modernization efforts and implementation of new capabilities within ELINT systems.

Skills and Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience. Strong technical background with experience in software development, software integration, or systems engineering.

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex systems and understanding how software and hardware components interact.

• Strong Linux experience.

• Ability to understand system architectures, interfaces, and subsystem interactions.

• Experience developing and analyzing technical requirements.

• Experience supporting systems integration and test activities.

• Experience supporting ELINT, SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, or airborne ISR programs.

• Experience with ELINT databases and tools such as:

• EPL, CED, EWIR, MIDB

• Experience with: Systems Integration, Software, Diagnostics, Root Cause Analysis, Verification & Validation, Interface Definition Documentation

• Familiarity with: Jira, Confluence, DOORS

• Knowledge of requirements management and traceability processes.

• Experience with software verification and testing methodologies.

• Experience supporting mission systems, communications systems, or airborne defense platforms.
