Electronics Technician I
Pay: $18 per hour
Location: Groveport
Schedule: Monday through Friday; shift hours vary
Position Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Technician I to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and components at the board and component level. You’ll help resolve technical issues and verify that devices meet quality and functional standards in a controlled production or repair environment.
What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and repair electronic devices and components at the board and component level.

Perform circuit analysis, fault isolation, and signal tracing to identify technical issues.

Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators or analyzers.

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering for repair and rework.

Diagnose and resolve integration and configuration issues in electronic systems.

Support PROM programming and waveform analysis during troubleshooting.

Document repair activities, test results, and findings accurately.

Follow ESD and cleanroom protocols to protect products and maintain safety.

Maintain diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Complete related data entry, reporting, and other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
-
High school diploma required.
-
At least 1 year of experience in electronics repair, technical support, or a related field.
-
Basic knowledge of electronics, digital components, and circuit fundamentals.
-
Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics at the component or board level preferred.
-
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
-
Soldering experience, including through-hole and surface-mount techniques.
-
Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Basic understanding of signal flow, waveform analysis, and fault isolation.
-
Basic computer, data-entry, and math skills.
-
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a cleanroom and ESD-controlled environment and lift up to 160 lbs.

Technical training or certifications, such as A+ or IPC, preferred.
