Full job description

About InstaLILY InstaLILY is an AI products and infrastructure company that puts execution at the frontier of enterprise AI. That work begins with Lily™, the world's first AI Forward Deployed Engineer, which learns how a business works, builds the software it needs, and goes live in days. It does not leave when the work ships; it stays and keeps the software working as the business changes. Lily runs wherever the work happens, in the cloud, on-premise, or at the edge, through InstaLILY's Small Data Center, built with NVIDIA technology. Founded in 2023 by Amit Shah and Sumantro Das, InstaLILY has raised nearly $100 million from Energize Capital, Insight Partners, and Home Depot Ventures. Headquartered in New York, with offices in San Francisco, London, and Toronto, InstaLILY serves leading companies across construction, industrial distribution, logistics, healthcare, and other operationally intensive industries. Learn more at https://instalily.ai/. The Traction Revenue grew 5x over the past year, and Lily has driven over $200M in new annual sales for a single customer. We serve some of the largest operators in our industries, including SRS Distribution (part of The Home Depot family), United Rentals, and Henry Schein, and we work closely with the Google DeepMind and NVIDIA ecosystems. How We Work We work in small teams with real ownership: clear problems, direct access to the customers whose work you're changing, and room to ship. Your code runs in live production systems inside billion-dollar operations, so you see your impact directly. People who do well here want that proximity to the work. We're growing fast, and the people who join now shape what this company becomes. Everything runs on three principles: Customers, Culture, and Code.

The Role We are seeking a hands-on Associate Videographer to manage the end-to-end production process for InstaLILY’s video content. In this individual contributor role, you will lead shoot planning, camera operation, video editing, and media library management. You will capture footage across our live events, company offices, and customer locations to create content tailored for social channels, web platforms, recruitment, and sales. Deliverables range from short social clips and event recap videos to customer case studies and expanded long-form features. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across our growth, events, and brand teams. What You’ll Do

  • In-office content: Document the team and the work in our New York office for brand and recruiting.
  • Event coverage: Film our summits, executive dinners, partner events, and turn around recaps and social cuts quickly.
  • Social video: Own short-form video across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and YouTube, for the brand and for our founders.
  • Long-form content: Produce product explainers, interview series and behind-the-scenes pieces.
  • Customer stories: Produce case-study videos with real people and real numbers.
  • Customer presence: Travel to customer sites to capture deployments, interviews and the teams using Lily day to day.
  • Footage library: Organize, tag and archive footage so the team can find and reuse it.
  • Experiments and strategy: Propose formats and series, ship them, measure what works and double down on it.

What You’ll Need

  • 1-4 years of video production experience: Shooting and editing, whether in-house, at an agency or freelance.
  • Portfolio/Reel (required): Share your online portfolio or a reel or 2-3 pieces with your application (make sure it tells us which parts you shot, edited or directed).
  • Shoot and edit end to end: Comfortable running camera, audio and lighting on your own, and editing in Premiere Pro, After Effects; DaVinci Resolve for color grading.
  • Platform fluency: You know what works on LinkedIn versus Instagram versus YouTube, and you cut for each.
  • Comfort on site: You can run an executive interview and still get usable footage on a loud warehouse floor.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: You can operate without a playbook and build one as you go.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Proven ability to collaborate, align, and communicate clearly across all levels, from freelance contributors to executive leadership.
  • Industry curiosity: You’ll film with customers in industrial distribution, construction, logistics, healthcare and similar verticals.
  • AI-native: Daily user of Claude and frontier AI tools in your workflow. You know where AI is useful and where it produces slop.
  • Travel: Expect roughly [25]% travel, concentrated around events and customer visits.
  • In-person availability: 5 days/week in our New York office.

Nice to Have

  • Motion graphics or animation experience (After Effects or similar).
  • Photography.
  • Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for graphic elements, including typography and layout composition.
  • Experience producing B2B or technology content.

What You’ll Get

  • Visibility: Your work sits at the center of how the world sees InstaLILY.
  • Stage: Early enough to shape how the company scales.
  • Culture: Offices in New York, San Francisco, London and Toronto. A sharp, low-ego team that keeps raising the bar.
  • Growth: Learn on the fly alongside a team of diversified skillsets.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Equity: Generous stock options awards and refreshers for top performers
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Well-being stipend, In-office lunch reimbursement, PTO and 10 US Federal Holidays, and more!

Quality Over Quantity To ensure a focused, high-quality hiring experience, we kindly ask candidates to limit their applications to 3 open requisitions at any given time. Applying strategically to roles that best align with your skills and career goals gives you the highest chance of standing out. Have you interviewed with us in the past 12 months? We encourage you to reach out directly to your previous interviewer rather than submitting a new application. InstaLILY is committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free recruitment process. If you require an accommodation, please let us know, and we will work with you to meet your needs.

We use AI to assist with parts of our application review process. If you’d like to opt out, please contact our recruiting team ([email protected]).
