Insight Global is seeking a Project Inspector for a leading telecommunications client. This individual will support fiber construction projects by owning project data, coordinating with Project Managers and construction partners, and ensuring information is accurate within internal systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, Excel-savvy, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career while serving as a key resource between project teams and operations.

Compensation: $30/hr - $38/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Expert Excel skills, including data manipulation, CSV imports/exports, filtering, reporting, and bulk updates

  • Experience working with large datasets and maintaining data accuracy

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and gather project information

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a liaison between teams

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Plusses:

  • Experience supporting telecommunications, fiber, broadband, or construction projects

  • Data analytics or reporting experience using Lightplan, Smartsheet, or Airtable

  • Experience working with project management or PMO teams

  • Familiarity with Lightplan or similar project tracking/database platforms

  • Experience supporting field operations, inspections, or construction coordination efforts

Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as the primary owner of project data updates and tracking within the Lightplan system

  • Gather information from Project Managers, inspectors, construction partners, and stakeholders

  • Perform bulk updates, data clean-up, and CSV uploads/downloads to maintain data integrity

  • Monitor project milestones, timelines, and status updates

  • Ensure project information is accurate, organized, and consistently maintained

  • Act as the "eyes and ears" between the PMO, Project Managers, and field operations

  • Identify data discrepancies and proactively resolve issues

  • Support reporting and project visibility efforts for leadership and operational teams

  • Assist with administrative and project coordination tasks as needed
