POSITION SUMMARY

Axiom Space is a complex, fast-moving environment, and we’re looking for a resilient, high-energy Software Program Performance Engineer IV to own the quantitative and process backbone of our software program across all five programs and the Station software elements. You will generate and communicate the metrics that leadership and the Government rely on to judge progress, cost, schedule, and risk, while guiding the software process to the Software Management Plan and managing the software Integrated Master Schedule and its interface to execution tooling.

You will also carry requirements and interface traceability from model through test, and coordinate the release, formal qualification, and documentation events for the Test and Project Support team. The result is a clear, consistent, and auditable view of how our software is performing, from planning through verification.

  • Collect and maintain process evidence to support CMMI appraisals and customer insight

  • Manage the software Integrated Master Schedule in the governing tool (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent) across major Axiom programs, keeping schedule and execution reconciled

  • Implement and maintain agile project management practices throughout the project lifecycle

  • Communicate progress, status, and emerging risks to stakeholders and leadership

  • Assess requirements and keep traceability current from model through verification

  • Support Model Based Systems Engineering by maintaining bidirectional traceability and managing Interface Control Documents
