As a Lean Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact operational performance, employee engagement, and business results. You'll partner with teams across the organization to identify opportunities, solve problems, and build sustainable systems that create lasting change.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Train, coach, and challenge process owners in the use of lean tools, approaches, and techniques to create sustainable management and measurement systems.

Facilitate team use of Lean Tools, including Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, PDCA/Problem Solving Process, CCF and identifying Waste.

Lead numerous projects to ensure on-time delivery and quality using both internal and external resources.

Investigate and analyze production methods and processes to identify improvements that drive efficiency, reduce cost, and eliminate waste.

Actively seek out best practices to share and implement.

Uses data to compare pre and post improvement state to quantify financial savings.
YOU HAVE:
-
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Engineering or a related subject area preferred.

2+ years manufacturing/lean experience.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.

Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept and support new processes in a changing business environment.

Skilled at effective communications. Skills must include good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, and ability to understand information and ideas as presented.

Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$54,300.00 - $100,800.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
