Construction Superintendent Field / Hands-On Supervisor Commercial/Public Works

Job Title: Construction Superintendent - Field / Hands-On Supervisor Company: Saboo Inc. Location: Brentwood, CA and travel to assigned various jobsites in Sacramento County, Santa Clara, Union City. Job Type: Full-Time Saboo Inc. is looking for an experienced field Construction Superintendent with at least 10 years of hands-on jobsite experience. We want someone who knows construction from actually working in the field someone who can run a jobsite, supervise subcontractors, solve problems, make decisions, and keep the work moving without needing constant direction. Responsibilities: - Run daily jobsite operations - Direct and supervise subcontractors and trades - Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and inspections - Know the proper tools and equipment needed to perform the work - Understand construction sequencing and how the work should be built - Read plans and specifications and compare them to actual field conditions - Catch poor workmanship, mistakes, and problems before they become costly - Make practical field decisions and solve problems as they come up - Keep subcontractors on schedule and hold them accountable - Maintain a safe, clean, productive jobsite - Communicate progress and problems to Saboo Inc. management - Always look out for Saboo Inc.andrsquo;s schedule, cost, quality, and interests Qualifications: - 10+ years of hands-on construction/jobsite experience - Strong commercial construction background - Previous Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or similar field leadership experience preferred - Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, materials, and methods - Ability to supervise multiple trades - Ability to read construction plans and specifications - Good judgment, common sense, and strong problem-solving skills - Must be dependable, proactive, and able to take ownership of the jobsite - Valid driverandrsquo;s license - CSLB license is not required This is a field position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being on the jobsite, understands how construction work is actually performed, and can step in and lead when decisions need to be made.
