Job Summary

The Chef Manager is responsible for leading both the culinary and food service operations while ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding hospitality, and efficient daily operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees menu development, purchasing, inventory, financial performance, food safety, and team development.

We're seeking a growth-oriented culinary leader who is passionate about mentoring teams, creating exceptional dining experiences, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary and food service operations.

• Manage purchasing, inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.

• Develop menus and maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.

• Monitor labor, budgets, and overall financial performance.

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop culinary associates.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Support catering and special events.

• Promote sustainability and continuous operational improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of culinary management experience in contract food service, restaurants, hotels, or fine dining.

• Experience with menu development, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.

• Knowledge of P&L management, HACCP, and food safety standards.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience with exhibition cooking is a plus.

• ServSafe Certification preferred.
