Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance

Mechanical / Industrial Electrician A 25 year growing service and maintenance organization located in Massillon, OH has immediate openings for Mechanical/ Electrical Technicians for repairing of heavy machinery and plant support equipment with 4+ years experience. Primary responsibility is to provide quality installations, inspections, maintenance and repairs of plant support equipment. Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and circuits. A strong electrical background is required. Primary Tasks and Responsibilities: - Inspections/corrective maintenance to verify safety and compliance with manufacturer, OSHA and ANSI standards. Troubleshoot and repair machinery to exact manufactures recommendations. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor control skills). - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment. - Support customers by effectively communicating and interfacing with customer and office management in repairing equipment as needed. - Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs. - Local travel within NE Ohio region to customer sites is a necessity, minimal overnight travel may be required and a clear driving record is required. Skills and Knowledge: - Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required. - Minimum three to five years work experience with plant equipment in a manufacturing environment. - Machining and welding skills desired. - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Occasional overtime or non-standard working hours required. - Working at heights and some heavy lifting.
