Scaffold Lead

*SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS *

*JOB TITLE: * Scaffold Lead *REQUISITION: * NUC00FT DEPARTMENT: Project Engineering *LOCATION: * Wolf Creek – Edward McCabe *PAY RANGE: * 47.03

*POSITION SUMMARY: * The Scaffold Lead will provide leadership, experience, knowledge and skill to perform scaffold activities. They will have the knowledge and skill to provide feedback on work instructions, walk downs, job preparations and executions. This position can perform/assist in other Civil work as required by workload.

*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

• Coordinate and assign work duties of the Civil Worker I-V by receiving direction from the supervisor.
• Oversee work performed by Civil Worker I-V employees and contractors.
• Maintain good housekeeping to ensure safe work areas in the power block.
• Perform/assist as required with all civil duties.
• Maintain and/or operate equipment used to perform various civil duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision/management.

*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and

• five years’ experience as a Civil Worker I-V and three years’ experience in scaffold, or
• three years’ experience in scaffold. Scaffold experience: The ability to: perform scaffold lay-out, erect and remove various styles of scaffolds such as tube and coupling, frame, system and swing-low; operate a circular saw and hammer nails; read and understand applicable discipline related drawings.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• This position requires a valid driver's license.

*VISION: *

• This position requires the ability to pass any vision requirements associated with company physicals.

*NOISE: *

• This position requires the ability to work in moderate to very loud environments.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• This position requires the ability to maintain Radworker qualification.
• Management has the right to require this position to pass and maintain respirator fit and qualification when necessary. This is not an essential job function for every position, but management retains its rights to ensure adequate numbers of respirator-qualified personnel to meet station requirements.
• This position requires a satisfactory work record including good attendance.
• Employees in this job position may have hazardous waste routine handler responsibilities.
