Overview

At Groups, the Associate Clinical Supervisor is an opportunity to step into leadership while staying closely connected to the members and the clinical work that brought you to this field.

In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of 2–6 counselors across multiple offices while continuing to facilitate 4–6 groups of your own. You’ll have the opportunity to coach and support clinicians, drive high-quality member care, and help shape the clinical practices and initiatives that impact the recovery journeys of the members we serve.

As a clinical leader, you’ll serve as a role model for our treatment philosophy and help ensure our teams deliver compassionate, member-centered care. This role is ideal for a clinician who is ready to grow into leadership without stepping away from direct clinical work and meaningful connections with members.

  • Collaborate closely with providers, Regional Medical Directors, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Represent Groups as a clinical leader in meetings, community events, and other external opportunities.
  • Work remotely with regular travel to assigned office locations, up to 50%.

Qualifications What You Bring:

  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health. Experience with a multi-site healthcare organization is strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical leadership and people-management experience.
  • A passion for developing others and driving high standards of clinical care and performance.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment, local community resources, and the behavioral health landscape.
  • Experience hiring, onboarding, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clinicians, physicians, leaders, and external partners.
  • Strong judgment, independence, discretion, and operational awareness.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and provide in-office clinical support as needed.

  • Evenings and On-Call roation as needed.
  • In-person and telehealth group therapy sessions.
