Full job description
Position Purpose:
In this position, the Manager of Technology Finance - AI & Software Optimization will be responsible for delivering analytical solutions that enhance visibility into AI and software investments. Through the design and management of reporting, data pipelines, forecasting models, and financial analytics, this role will improve cost transparency, identify opportunities to optimize technology investments, and enable more informed decision-making across Technology and Finance. Key focus areas include:

AI Tool Financial Analysis & Usage Forecasting: Partner closely with engineering and business leaders to model, evaluate, and forecast AI consumption trends, develop unit economics and cost models, establish accountability frameworks, and identify cost optimization opportunities related to model usage, infrastructure, and enterprise AI adoption.

Enterprise AI Financial Management: Serve as the financial lead for AI spend, designing dashboards, allocation models, and data pipelines to deliver visibility into AI spend and consumption while identifying cost-efficiency and optimization opportunities across the enterprise.

Software Optimization & Deal Decision Support: Partner across Technology, Procurement, and business functions to evaluate software portfolio utilization, identify optimization opportunities, and provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic contract negotiations, renewals, and licensing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis/Problem Solving - Works to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plans and ensures execution of department objectives. Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensures that budgetary goals are met. Reviews monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.

Conduct financial planning for function and make appropriate recommendations.

Leads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Ensures operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies.

Drive key functional financial metrics.

Project Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners. Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage. Facilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
