Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

Demonstrated mid-senior level experience with successful oversight of funded research programs, developed and delivered by faculty from multiple academic disciplines.

Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational management skills required to supervise personnel working on externally-funded research programs.

Experience working in a large central research office at a public university.
-
Ability to identify and uphold all relevant research policies and compliance requirements for funded research programs.
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-
Knowledge of grant processes, funding agencies, and compliance.
-
Excellent time and project management skills, with demonstrated experience meeting scheduling and deadlines for funded research programs.
-
5+ years of experience in a position that provides direct support to university research programs.

Master’s Degree.

Job Description
The Translational Health Research Center ( THRC ) at Texas State University facilitates applied research and events through partnerships with TXST faculty, staff, and students, businesses, community members, nonprofits, and government organizations.
THRC seeks a Director of Grants Administration to oversee the development, delivery and reporting of federal, state, and foundation health and resilience research programs.
Job Duties
The ideal candidate should be able to:

Direct the grant lifecycle and the administrative management of grants

Provide team leadership as the primary lead for oversight of all THRC grants

Develop and oversee strategic grant partnerships with principal investigators and community partners

Oversee the financial stewardship of grant programs
-
Perform other duties as assigned
