Civil Superintendent – Nashville Metro Area, TN

Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 Annually

Ultimate seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee and coordinate operations across multiple heavy civil construction projects throughout the Nashville Metro area. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through final completion while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, production, scheduling, and budget performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive heavy civil construction experience with excavation, grading, underground utilities, and site development projects. This individual must possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Overview

The Civil Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader and is responsible for coordinating personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project activities while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years superintendent experience

• Heavy civil construction background

• Excavation and grading experience

• Blueprint reading proficiency

• OSHA safety knowledge

• Strong leadership skills

• Budget management experience

• Excellent communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Valid driver's license
