Technical Specialist, Parts

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provide technical clarification on replacement parts, including escalation of complex issues requiring engineering or obsolescence review. Support preventative maintenance contract orders by coordinating with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery to customers. Troubleshoot parts-related issues, including incorrect shipments, and document issues through internal tracking systems as needed. Respond to customer inquiries of a technical nature regarding after-sales parts, rebuilds, and product support. Maintain and update the customer installation base and related equipment records. Collaborate with Engineering and Service teams to identify alternative parts when standard components are unavailable or have extended lead times. Conduct technical research on part numbers to support sales orders; provide specifications or drawings to internal teams as needed. Identify component groupings for special kits and sub-assemblies based on equipment configurations. Review and flag needed updates to equipment manuals and coordinate revisions with the documentation team. Evaluate customer requests to determine warranty applicability based on product and service criteria. Assist in identifying and documenting engineering change requests and coordinate communication with Engineering and other internal stakeholders. Maintain internal parts databases and support compliance-related recordkeeping requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation to support customer needs outside of standard business hours.
