Full job description

Contract Surgical Technologist Certified

Varies by assignment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated from an CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.

Experience: Three years of experience required.

Licensure: BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: passing instruments, lifting heavy instrument sets. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull >50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay rate for this role is $52.00 hourly. This position is compensated at a fixed rate. Compensation is established in accordance with the position's approved pay structure.
