Full job description
A successful candidate for this full-time position will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity while supporting the identification and evaluation of new project opportunities across a wide variety of departments at ESPN (e.g., corporate strategy, technology, content and marketing, product, production, and programming).
Responsibilities:

Support project management efforts across multiple concurrent initiatives, including early ideation, scoping, execution support, delivery tracking, and post launch evaluation.

Assist project leads by coordinating with cross functional stakeholders and external partners to support alignment, execution, and timeline adherence.

Help document roles, responsibilities, and workflows across internal teams, leagues, vendors, and partners to enable efficient collaboration.

Support external partner relationships by assisting with ongoing communications, deliverables, and status updates to help ensure successful outcomes.

Work with internal colleagues across ESPN, Disney Entertainment, and corporate teams including Content, Technology, Editorial, Ad Sales, Finance, Legal, Research, Affiliate, Ad Sales, and Business Affairs.

Support the Vice President and Manager with finance, legal, and execution related needs tied to innovation initiatives.

Assist with financial tracking and review of accounting and invoicing requirements for innovation projects, helping ensure timely payments in coordination with Finance teams.

Create and maintain standardized project documentation, including briefs, road maps, budgets, timelines, run of show documents, and post project summaries.Track project performance against defined KPIs and contribute to executive ready updates and insights in collaboration with senior team members.
Required Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical, financial, technology, project management consulting, marketing, or business development role.

Familiarity with the media distribution landscape, competitors, and current trends in the media industry.

Strong written, verbal, and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Ability to support strategic problem solving and translate high level objectives into actionable tasks.

Effective communicator (verbal and written) able to tailor messaging for different stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience :
-
Experience or exposure to media, technology, project management, consulting, or corporate strategy environments.

Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning tools, including large language models (LLMs).

Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and presentation development while maintaining editorial standards, brand voice, and governance requirements.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $81,918 - $109,890 per year and in Bristol, CT is $78,146 to $104,830 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
