STA: RA Office and PROMPT4RA

STA: RA Office and PROMPT4RA-12 Month STA (Short-Term Assignment) 50% Time Commitment. (Can be filled from any location)

This opportunity is linked to the development of the employee and, therefore, does not suffer any changes in the system in terms of current position, remuneration/benefits, and direct management. In addition, in this development model, all costs referred to the employee stay in origin area. The STA: RA Office and PROMPT4RA drives the effective governance, optimization, and continuous evolution of the RA Office and associated regulatory digital platforms and data models. The role ensures data-enabled decision-making, cross-functional alignment, and operational excellence within Regulatory Affairs, supporting digital transformation initiatives.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, STA: RA Office and PROMPT4RA, are to:

Digital Platform Governance

  • Ensure setup, functionality, and lifecycle management of PROMPT4RA, RA Business Information Platform (BIP), and RA Stewardship frameworks;

  • Maintain and continuously improve regulatory data structures and information models;

  • Assess regulatory documentation and data sources to ensure consistency and data integrity.

Demand & Portfolio Management

  • Collect, consolidate, and help prioritize RA demands and change requests in alignment with business priorities;

  • Align requirements impacting multiple stakeholder groups to ensure consistency and scalability.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as key interface between Regulatory Affairs, R&D PO (PM), Data Science & AI, and IT to ensure alignment on data models and system integration;

  • Partner with data governance bodies and data architects to harmonize operating models and data practices.

Agile Delivery & Implementation

  • Translate business needs into user stories and contribute to agile development processes;

  • Support sprint planning and prioritization of development backlog across competing demands:

  • Contribute to resource planning and capacity management across implementation partners.

Operational Excellence & Enablement

  • Support operational excellence initiatives and GRT coordination activities;

  • Ensure quality through user acceptance testing and validation of new functionalities;

  • Define training needs and support onboarding of new users.

Key User & Support

  • Act as primary key user and first-level support for PROMPT4RA, RA BIP, PROMPT;

  • Stewardship ensuring high-quality user experience and issue resolution.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Data Science, or related field.

Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, R&D, or a related function;

  • Experience with regulatory systems, digital platforms, and data management;

  • Experience working in cross-functional and global environments;

Core Competencies/Functional Expertise

Required:

  • Strong understanding of Regulatory Affairs processes, Regulatory Submission Management and BRAVE platform

  • Knowledge of additional relevant platforms and IT tools (e.g., PROMPT, GEMSTONE, Powe BI) and data integration concepts;

  • Understanding of data governance and information modeling principles.

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills;

  • Agile mindset with continuous improvement orientation;

  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving;

  • Clear and concise communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Regulatory Affairs teams (global and local;

  • R&D PO;

  • Data Science & AI and IT organizations;

  • Data Governance and Architecture communities;

Decision Making & Impact

  • Accountable for facilitating prioritization of RA demands and design decisions within the RA Office scope;

  • Contributes to strategic direction of Regulatory digital transformation;

  • Enables efficient operations through optimized data structures and digital workflows.
