  • Integrate and debug motion control systems, sensors, and embedded systems within automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.

  • Lead electrical validation, commissioning activities, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) for new or modified equipment.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving yield, efficiency, and cost reduction within manufacturing processes.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation and control plans to ensure consistent and repeatable production performance.

  • Analyze production data to drive process capability improvements and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

  • Oversee integration and optimization of robotic and automated assembly systems to improve throughput and quality.

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on system upgrades, retrofits, and new automation deployments.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in electrical manufacturing and automation systems, providing guidance on best practices and standards.

  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical coaching and supporting their professional development.

  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and RCA.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, internal requirements, and quality procedures for all electrical and automation systems.

  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including schematics, drawings, and project records.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, process performance, and improvement activities to leadership.

  • Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, where appropriate, to improve processes and reduce variation.

Essential Skills
