-this position will eventually oversee PACU, Day Surgery, Pre-Admissions, Infusion Clinic

Shift: Full time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (can be variable based on needs of the unit)

PACU/Recovery Room

**Patient Population: ** Various, adult population; pediatric patient only in emergencies

Number of Beds: 18-20

Experience required: BSN; 5 years (2 years of recent PACU); 2 years of leadership experience (Charge, Supervisor, Manager)

Preferred: MSN, Day Surgery experience

Job Summary

You are crucial as Manager of Nursing Registered Nurse 1 in creating a supportive, healthy space for staff. Your responsibilities include promoting top-tier nursing practices and ensuring a nurturing environment. You play a key role in planning, policy formation, resource allocation, and improvement efforts. Designing educational programs and providing nursing care is also essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is needed for this role.

• Registered Nurse

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting the job.

• Experience required: BSN; 5 years (2 years of recent PACU); 2 years of leadership experience (Charge, Supervisor, Manager)

• Preferred: MSN, Day Surgery experience
