Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing services to individuals receiving in-home nursing respite under the supervision of the RN Supervisor. Services are delivered in accordance with physician orders, nursing care plans, agency policies, and regulatory requirements. This position does not include community outings or non-clinical support services. Key Responsibilities •Provide direct nursing care in the client's home. Administer medications and monitor responses. Perform vital signs, treatments, wound care, and infection control. • Observe and report changes in client condition. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. • Complete medication records, treatment logs, and nursing notes. • Report incidents and safety concerns immediately. • Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality. • Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols. • Participate in required trainings and evaluations. • Maintain active licensure and certifications. Qualifications • Active unrestricted LPN license in Mississippi. • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. • Strong documentation and clinical skills. • Ability to work independently in home settings. • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
