This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13675852 The Role:\ Were looking for a Registered Nurse whos equal parts calm under pressure, detail-obsessed, and kid-savvy. Youll work closely with therapists, behavioral health staff, and leadership to support the medical needs of youth navigating serious emotional and psychiatric challenges. Youll monitor, assess, educate, and medicatesometimes all before lunch. Responsibilities: - Administer medications accurately and on schedule (aka keep the chaos medicated responsibly) - Monitor the health and well-being of residents and respond to changes or crises - Perform assessments, triage situations, and communicate with the treatment team - Provide health education to residents in ways that actually make sense to a 13-year-old - Complete documentation like a pro, because if its not charted you know the saying - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and guardians to coordinate care - Maintain medical supplies, stay cool in emergencies, and never underestimate the power of a Band-Aid
