Lecturer, Civil Environmental & Chemical Engineering - Rayen School of Engineering (Term)

Summary of Position Serve as a dedicated academic partner to the Jilin Jianzhu University (JLJU) -- Youngstown State University (YSU) cooperative education programs. Teach undergraduate courses at Jilin Jianzhu University (JLJU) in China and as assigned, on the Youngstown State University (YSU) main campus. Deliver YSU-approved curriculum in accordance with YSU academic standards and contributes to curriculum implementation, student success, program assessment, accreditation, and other academic activities that support the successful operation, quality, and continuous improvement. Participate in department, college, and university service activities. ## Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Minimum Qualifications: At least an earned Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, and a master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
