Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Sales Support Coordinator to join a collaborative team in Arkansas. This contract position with permanent potential will serve as a key link between customers, sales, logistics, and accounting to help ensure orders are accurate, organized, and delivered as expected. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly adaptable, and comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys being a dependable resource across multiple functions and using strong computer skills to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer orders from initial receipt through final delivery, confirming specifications, timelines, and site requirements to support accurate fulfillment.

  • Partner closely with the sales team to manage a high volume of requests, provide timely updates, and help keep customer commitments on track.

  • Review order details carefully to reduce errors and help ensure products arrive correctly at the job site.

  • Work across logistics, accounting, and internal operations to resolve order issues, track progress, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.

  • Use internal systems to enter sales orders, monitor inventory-related information, maintain records, and support reporting activities.

  • Adjust priorities throughout the day based on order volume, customer needs, shipping demands, and changing business conditions.

  • Support delivery coordination by helping arrange transportation, monitoring shipment status, and addressing fulfillment concerns when they arise.

  • Assist with purchasing and material planning activities as needed to help maintain product availability and support customer orders.

  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to clarify product questions, gather required information, and escalate technical matters to the appropriate subject matter experts when necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting customers, sales teams, or order management functions in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, accounting, and operations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence using business systems for order entry, inventory, or customer information management.

  • Familiarity with logistics, shipping coordination, order fulfillment, or supply chain processes.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including clear and accurate email correspondence with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced setting while supporting demanding schedules and shifting priorities.

  • Experience with ERP/accounting and order processing systems is helpful.
