Outreach Part-Time Biology Instructor (PTI3008)

Teaching assignments include evening courses and teaching via alternative delivery systems, such as Zoom, Hybrid, Blended Online and Online. - Assignments may include teaching at various high school locations and travel to McPherson and/or Newton Outreach locations. High school semesters may extend beyond the HutchCC academic calendar. - Plan and implement appropriate activities to supplement instruction. - Plan, revise, and update curricula as assigned by the department chairperson. - Maintain accurate records in the learning management system and other documents as requested by the department, including submitting gradesand course outcomesin a timely manner. - Access the learning management system regularly, respond to emails and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position in a timely manner. - Collaborate and communicate effectively with Outreach and the department. - Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position. - Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices. Secondary - Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the department chairperson or the Vice President of Academic Affairs, with input from the Outreach Team.
