QC Associate- Clark NJ

Position Overview

Provides technical quality support to production units, outside vendors, and quality laboratories to help ensure packaging materials and products meet applicable quality-system and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on packaging inspection and testing, documentation, and support for manufacturing quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test packaging components, bulk materials, and finished goods against established requirements.

  • Apply statistical sampling methods and document inspection and test results.

  • Provide technical quality support to production units, outside vendors, and quality laboratories. Review and maintain SOPs, records, and other controlled documentation.

  • Support compliance with applicable FDA and ISO requirements, including documentation and audit-related activities.

  • Complete document-management and administrative tasks that support quality operations. Communicate quality findings and support follow-up as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience with a strong emphasis on quality.

  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience inspecting packaging materials.

  • Experience with statistical sampling and testing packaging components, bulk materials, and finished goods.

  • Familiarity with FDA and ISO requirements, SOPs, audits, and documentation practices is highly desirable.

  • Experience with document management, SOP and records review, and related administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Color-matching experience.

  • Background in general manufacturing and packaging quality.
