Full job description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, and plows. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots, and spread salt in those areas. Gather and remove litter. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. May be required to work in the shop during downtime and assist with equipment maintenance as needed. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Lawn care experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. Must be willing to learn, follow directions, and work as part of a team.
