Position Information Posted Range: $37.33 This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth. American Water is also proud to offer employees learning opportunities and work experiences to grow professionally! _ Key Accountabilities_ * Performs duties necessary to maintain and ensure the reliable operation of the Interurban Production facilities including, but not limited to, chemical feed systems, required process control testing and analysis, filling of day tanks, management of pumping and filter operations including filter washing and any additional filter treatment that may be required. * Manages outlying stations in regard to pumpage, tank levels, and pressure requirements. * May also perform light or routine maintenance and housekeeping. * Performs any other duties as assigned by management. _ Experience/Education_ * 0-2 years of experience in the water industry. * High School diploma or GED required. * Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle check. _ Work Environment_ * Swing shift (days/afternoons/overnights), which include working holidays and weekends. You will work 3 days on, 2 days off then switch to 2 days on, 3 days off. This includes working night shifts. Day shift is 6a-6p. Night shift is 6p-6a. * Must work in a safe and productive mannger at all times. * The individual must be able to perform the essential functions and meet the physical requirements for the position.
