Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Sourcing Specialist with a strong background in purchasing/buying within a manufacturing environment . The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant buying experience, strong supplier management skills, and the ability to independently manage tasks and projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing and sourcing activities for site-specific materials and services

  • Support RFQ/RFI, supplier qualification, and supplier resourcing activities

  • Maintain purchasing and sourcing information within ERP systems

  • Resolve supplier issues, invoice discrepancies, claims, and chargebacks

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and regional sourcing teams

  • Support PPAP/APQP qualification and material changeovers

  • Monitor material cost variances and identify cost-reduction opportunities

  • Maintain sourcing, compliance, and supplier documentation

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of manufacturing, transportation, or heavy construction experience

  • 2-4+ years of purchasing/buying experience; manufacturing buying experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Baan

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

  • Strong supplier communication and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
