Full job description

We’ve hit $1M ARR with 200+ paying customers and strong investor backing. You’ll be our second AE, shaping how we grow to $10M+ ARR. This role is for someone who wants real ownership. Someone who can operate without a playbook, figure things out fast, and raise the bar for what great looks like. If you’re looking for a career defining role where you build, sell, and lead from the ground up, this is it. About Converge Converge is building the unified marketing measurement stack for online stores. We make it easy for marketers to understand where their customers come from, cut unprofitable channels, and scale when things are working. We already optimize billions in revenue for the world’s best DTC growth teams by offering enterprise-grade conversion tracking and real-time marketing attribution. We raised $5.7M from some of the best investors, including Y Combinator (S23), General Catalyst, and the founders of PostHog, Algolia, Showpad, and ShipBob. Responsibilities

  • Marketing Measurement Authority: Advise customers on attribution, conversion tracking, and performance reporting with credibility. You should be able to challenge assumptions, not just explain features.
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Drive complex mid market deals from first conversation to close, managing multiple stakeholders and technical requirements.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Generate and qualify your own pipeline across inbound and outbound, focusing on high quality ICP accounts and meaningful deal size.
  • Scale the Sales Engine: Refine and expand our sales motion, improving process, messaging, and outbound leverage.
  • Voice of the Market: Bring structured customer insight back to Product to influence roadmap and positioning.

You will thrive in this role if you

  • Have consistently exceeded quota: You have a track record of top performance as an AE.
  • Are technical enough to earn trust: You quickly understand attribution and conversion tracking, and speak confidently with operators and marketing leaders.
  • Operate with high agency: You do not wait for perfect process. You identify gaps and fix them.
  • Care about craft: You are structured in discovery, sharp in demos, and disciplined in follow up.
  • Have experience in MarTech or adjacent markets: You have sold to marketing teams or worked closely with performance marketing and analytics.

This role is not for you if you

  • Believe selling is just about relationships: Our customers choose us because we understand their technical challenges deeply. You will need to master the product and the domain.
  • Choose predictability over upside: There are no predefined benchmarks or career tracks here - just significant upside for overachievers.
  • Want a lower intensity role: This is a critical early revenue position that requires long hours and a high level of personal ownership.
  • Prefer remote over in-person: We are in person in NYC and believe this helps us move faster and win.

What we offer

  • High earning potential: Competitive OTE with uncapped commission and aggressive accelerators for top performers.
  • Meaningful equity: Equity designed to reflect early-stage contribution and long-term value creation.
  • Career-defining opportunity: The opportunity to build and lead parts of the GTM function as we grow.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Private health, dental, and vision insurance, plus pension & 401k contributions.

Interview process*

  • Application: We're looking to see how your skills and experience align with our needs.
  • Intro interview (30-min): A conversation to understand your trajectory, motivations, and what you are looking for next.
  • Culture interview (45-min): We will walk through your experience and background in detail.
  • Case interview (1 hour): A realistic customer scenario where you lead discovery and articulate value.
  • Offer: If everyone’s aligned, we’ll move quickly to make you an offer.

(*) The full process can be completed in 48 hours if preferred.
