Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Accountant to support multiple construction projects and partner closely with Project Managers on accounting, billing, subcontractor compliance, and project reporting. This person should come from a General Contractor environment and be comfortable managing several active projects at once.

Locations: Walnut Creek, CA , San Francisco, CA , Santa Clara, CA , and Santa Monica, CA

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction/project accounting experience

  • Experience working for a General Contractor (GC)

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience using Skyline construction accounting software

  • Experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously

  • Experience with: Owner billings Schedule of Values (SOVs) Change orders Subcontractor invoicing Lien waivers and compliance tracking

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 CRE

  • Experience with Textura

  • Experience working for mid-sized to large General Contractors

  • Exposure to project start-up and close-out processes

  • Experience tracking subcontractor insurance and licensing compliance
