RICEFW Technologies Inc. has an opening for the position of Sr. Technical Business Analyst (Ref# STBA106MDS). Work Location: Okemos, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Lead the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Gather/elicit and analyze technical and business requirements of the project. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Facilitate user meetings for eliciting business process requirements and functional requirements. Prepare detailed descriptions of user needs, business functions, and the steps required to develop or modify automated systems to mirror business practices. Gather business requirements and functional requirements and transform those requirements into clear and precise language. Work with the client to review, analyze, and evaluate business processes around the implementation of new enterprise-level software solutions that will replace legacy systems. Prepare client project templates in accordance with proper procedures. Proof documents for errors in business and technical descriptions. Involved in the deployment and management of user reporting tools and platforms. Coordinate and communicate the efforts of multiple groups of technical and business groups (including software/technical teams, business subject-matter experts, quality assurance and testing resources, and end users) in conjunction with third-party software vendors. Use common concepts, practices, and procedures within the enterprise-level software field. Involved in creating product strategy and roadmaps. Implement business analysis best practices. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, Project Lead, Project Manager, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
