Parker’s Noise, Vibration & Harshness Division is seeking a strategic and hands-on Division Controller to lead the accounting, financial reporting, planning, and internal control functions for a global division with approximately $500M in annual sales across two business units: Industrial Equipment and Aerospace & Defense.

Reporting to the Division General Manager, with dotted-line accountability to the Group VP Controller, this role serves as a key finance leader and business partner. The Division Controller ensures the integrity of financial results, safeguards division assets, strengthens internal controls, and supports informed decision-making aligned with Parker’s Win Strategy.

  • Lead the division accounting organization, including general accounting, budgeting, planning, analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure accurate, timely monthly financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and performance analysis against objectives.

  • Maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with GAAP and local statutory requirements.

  • Direct the annual division planning process and develop proactive reporting tools that support operational and strategic decisions.

  • Provide financial insight, analysis, and recommendations to division, group, and corporate leadership.

  • Identify and communicate financial risks, opportunities, and performance trends.

  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

  • Evaluate investments in operating assets and support sound capital allocation decisions.

  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing accounting team through talent management, training, and succession planning.

  • Partner cross-functionally with division leadership, business units, regulatory agencies, and corporate finance teams.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will be a trusted finance leader who delivers accurate financial results, strengthens controls, develops talent, and provides clear business insight that helps drive growth, productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence across the division.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, cost accounting, financial planning, or controllership.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, reporting requirements, and business performance analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and support executive-level decision-making.

  • High degree of integrity, accountability, business judgment, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SAP highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with US Government Cost Accounting standards highly preferred.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
