Full job description

About Naive Naive is building autonomous companies: agent systems capable of operating real businesses end to end. We release autonomous company templates and benchmarks, alongside a studio—where users can deploy and operate these systems. Our infrastructure platform, Vetta, powers long-running, high-volume agent workloads. We’ve raised a $28.5M Series A from Nexus Venture Partners, Y Combinator, Zetta Venture Partners, Liquid 2 and leading operators. The Role Build Vetta into the best platform for deploying and operating large-scale agent workloads. You’ll work across core infrastructure and customer deployments. Accordingly, you also have the chance to earn significant equity at a fast growing Series A startup. What You’ll Do

  • Build agent orchestration, execution and tool-use infrastructure
  • Improve reliability, latency, observability and cost at scale
  • Design systems for long-running, stateful and multi-agent workloads
  • Work directly with customers to deploy production agent systems
  • Turn customer requirements into reusable platform capabilities
  • Own projects from architecture through production

Must-Haves

  • Strong Python and distributed-systems engineering
  • Experience building production LLM agents
  • Understanding of orchestration, queues, retries, state and observability
  • Ability to debug complex systems across the full stack
  • Strong customer communication and high agency

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Pi, Hermes, and building your own agent harness
  • Built developer infrastructure, agent runtimes or workflow systems
  • Founder, founding engineer or forward-deployed engineering experience
