Hours: 6am-2:30pm with O/T opportunities (occasional Saturday work, preference on candidates open to this) We are seeking a top-tier Aerospace Interior Painter to support VIP aircraft operations. This person will prepare, paint, and finish aircraft interior components to meet high-end cosmetic, quality, and durability requirements. Candidates with aircraft interior painting experience and familiarity with FAA-regulated quality standards are strongly preferred. We will also consider highly skilled automotive painters with transferable experience in custom finishes, precision color matching, and premium-quality work. Hydrographic finishing experience is a plus. We are looking to get someone onsite as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities Clean, sand, mask, and prepare aircraft interior components for painting and finishing. Remove contaminants and surface imperfections to create a smooth, uniform base. Mix and match paints according to approved specifications and color requirements. Apply primers, base coats, topcoats, clear coats, and specialized finishes. Operate spray guns, paint equipment, and other hand or power tools safely. Complete touch-ups, refinishing, and defect correction as needed. Inspect completed surfaces for color consistency, texture, coverage, finish, and visible defects. Follow approved work instructions, manufacturer specifications, and company quality procedures. Maintain accurate material usage and work documentation when required. Clean and maintain spray equipment, tools, preparation areas, and paint booths. Follow all PPE, chemical-handling, ventilation, environmental, and workplace safety requirements. Collaborate with quality, production, and VIP operations teams to meet delivery schedules.

Skills and Requirements

Professional painting experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, marine, industrial, or another precision finishing environment. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, color matching, spray application, and finishing techniques. Ability to identify and correct defects such as runs, uneven coverage, contamination, texture inconsistencies, and color variation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality cosmetic finishes. Knowledge of safe chemical handling and industrial spray-equipment procedures. Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety requirements. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and operate painting equipment for extended periods. Ability to wear required PPE and work safely in preparation rooms and paint booths. Transferable Automotive Experience Automotive painters may be considered if they have experience with: High-end, custom, restoration, or luxury vehicle finishes. Precision color matching and blending. Multi-stage paint systems and clear-coat application. Detailed masking, surface preparation, and defect correction. Producing consistent, showroom-quality finishes. Working within documented quality and safety procedures.
