Direct Care Counselor

As a Shelter Counselor, you'll play a key role in helping families feel safe and supported as they work towards finding permanent housing. Position Responsibilities: - Help create a cozy, home-like environment where everyone feels cared for. - Support families by assisting with everyday tasks, teaching life skills, and offering guidance. - Write simple notes to track the progress of each family. - Attend team meetings to share ideas and learn from others. - Make sure the shelter's rules are followed to keep everyone safe and on track.
