Performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Quality Engineering.
In this role, you will
-
Contribute to the preparation and execution of quality hardware production including documentation, test reports, inspection records, and process flow.
-
Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective-action development for non-conformances identified during testing or production.

Support the execution of product audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive production improvements and deliver results
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of
-
Data-analysis tools
-
Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to apply them to improve product quality and reliability.

Problem solving skills to identify solutions to complex problems
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college.

Basic understanding of technical concepts.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
