Join our Global Technology & Cyber Security Team (GTCS)

At Manulife, we're transforming the technology foundations that support millions of customers globally. We're looking for a Lead Infrastructure & Domain Architect to define the strategic direction, standards, and roadmap for our enterprise infrastructure and core technology platforms.

In this role, you will partner with engineering, operations, security, resilience, and business leaders to modernize infrastructure, simplify technology landscapes, improve resiliency, and accelerate adoption of cloud and platform-based services.

You will play a key role in shaping the future-state architecture for infrastructure, cloud, network, end-user, workplace, observability, service management, and operational platforms while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, security requirements, and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in infrastructure, platform, solution, domain, or enterprise architecture within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience defining technology strategies and architecture roadmaps for infrastructure and platform services.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), infrastructure services, networking, platform engineering, and distributed systems.
  • Experience governing large-scale technology initiatives and modernization programs.
  • Good understanding of security, resiliency, risk, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and technology teams.
  • Experience working within Agile and product-oriented delivery environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, network architecture, connectivity, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, hybrid cloud, and core technology services.

Referenced Salary Location Toronto, Ontario Working Arrangement

Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $113,260.00 CAD - $210,340.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
