Full job description
- Working collaboratively and positively with business and property owners plus members of the community to understand and address environmental and public health concerns. - Evaluating and assessing environmental health conditions at facilities such as food service establishments, schools, pools/spas, motels, campgrounds, and tattoo parlors. - Analyzing and evaluating situations and data to develop solutions tailored to specific - circumstances. - Using independent judgement and resourcefulness in applying guidelines. - Collaborating with the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to evaluate individual onsite wastewater disposal systems. - Conducting inspections to ensure compliance with public health laws and regulations. - Creating and maintaining accurate documentation and records. - Maintaining an organized calendar for workload management, appointments, and program tracking. - Executing strong clerical skills.
