Full job description
Nanopath is developing a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform to transform how diseases are diagnosed. We aim to replace lengthy molecular testing workflows by bringing rapid, high-quality diagnostics closer to the patient. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes – starting with women – through a purpose-built platform that delivers actionable results within a single office visit. The company is headquartered at The Engine, the premier tough technology incubator in the Kendall Square ecosystem. We are collectively committed to health equity and the design of solutions for underserved populations and low-resource settings. About the Role
- Support and manage a variety of engineering tasks. We are happy to tailor key responsibilities to the candidate ranging from hardware, 3D printing, prototyping to molecular biology and anything in between.
- Participate in critical team discussions, meetings, and presentations. Our co-ops are given critical and important projects!
- Work directly with our tight-knit team of scientists and engineers to drive our product forward.
- Learn more about cutting edge biophysics and interdisciplinary medtech development.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a relevant academic program – we are open to undergraduate and graduate degree opportunities
- Ability to commit to 15+ weeks of full-time and onsite work in Cambridge, MA
- Sophomore or above with demonstrated experience through past internships or research projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized with demonstrated curiosity, scientific rigor and creative problem-solving
- Proactive self-starter with eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Passion for technology translation and willingness to shape Nanopath’s future
This is a full-time onsite role in Cambridge, MA starting in early Jan, lasting no less than 5 months. Don’t meet every single requirement?
