United Protective Services is looking for an experienced Field Training Officer to help develop Security Officers, monitor performance, and provide operational support across multiple client locations during afternoon and evening hours.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a security professional who is comfortable coaching employees, reinforcing standards, addressing performance concerns, and helping deliver consistent service across assigned properties.

Schedule

  • Saturday – Sunday: Off

  • Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and mentor Security Officers at assigned locations.

  • Conduct field visits and post inspections to assess officer performance.

  • Reinforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific expectations.

  • Provide support during incidents, emergencies, and other operational situations.

  • Identify performance concerns and provide guidance or corrective coaching when needed.

  • Complete inspection reports, training records, and other required documentation.

  • Promote professional conduct, accountability, and quality customer service.

  • Travel between assigned client properties throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Must be at least 25 years old to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

  • Previous security leadership experience as a Lead Officer, Shift Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or similar position.

  • Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively coach and hold officers accountable.

  • Military or law enforcement experience preferred, but not required.
