This position requires onsite work 3 days a week in Mountain View. This position requires 50% of domestic and International travel.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in security management, criminal justice, or emergency management or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in executive protection, protective operations, military special operations, or protective law enforcement, including operational experience in Executive/Dignitary Protection on a global level.

  • Active Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA / H.R. 218) qualification in good standing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience conducting Technical Vulnerability Team (TVT) sweeps, TSCM, and active certification in Tactical Medicine (TacMed, TCCC) or EMT.

  • Impeccable professional discretion, decisive problem-solving under pressure, executive presence, and fluency with Google Workspace tools.

  • Proven ability to mentor Executive Support Specialists (ESS) while overseeing contract security partner details.

  • Excellent communication and operational documentation skills, with a proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

As an Executive Support Agent (ESA) within Leadership Support Services (LSS), you deliver personal protection, executive escorts, and advance planning for C-suite leadership. You bring sound judgment and logical problem-solving to high-stakes environments, excelling independently and collaboratively.

In this role, you lead complex protective advances, execute Technical Vulnerability Team (TVT) sweeps, and coordinate secure global motorcade movements. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure quality control, drive time-critical results, and track program performance. While deployed, you report directly to the deployed Security Manager to maximize operational success. You also provide peer mentorship to Executive Support Specialists and oversee agreement security partner details.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $136000 - $196000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end protective advances, close escorts, and secure transportation for executive movements locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • Conduct meticulous Technical Vulnerability Team (TVT) sweeps and physical security assessments of executive residences, offices, and temporary travel venues.

  • Author comprehensive travel operations plans, risk assessments, and deliver decisive operational briefings and to protective teams.

  • Partner with the deployed Security Manager or Senior Security Manager on travel missions to align on operational guidance and drive mission capabilities.

  • Provide operational guidance and peer mentorship to Executive Support Specialists (ESS), while directing and evaluating agreement protective security teams.
