Externally, the role will engage with Outside Counsel, external vendors to strengthen relationships and advance organizational objectives.

This position is based in Chicago, IL.

How you will contribute :

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Coordinate schedules, book travel, process expense reports, continuing legal education tracking, and correspondence for supported leaders.

  • Provide word processing and presentation support to department members.

Project Management

  • Coordinate deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups across project teams.

Technology & Systems

  • Maintain proficiency in department digital/ AI platforms.

  • Act as SME on emerging technologies and lead internal training.

Department Operations

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and procurement.

  • Partner with Facilities Management on department projects, vendor coordination, and records management.

Training & Programs

  • Support department-wide learning initiatives.

  • Assist in managing LCS's annual summer internship program (interviews, onboarding/offboarding, technology setup).

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Provide support for audits related to Outside Counsel Management, VAT recovery, and settlements documentation.

  • Assist with verification of audit requirements under Outside Counsel Guidelines.

Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain electronic resources for the LCS team and business partners.

What you will bring:

  • Advanced coordination and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience in an in-house legal, law firm, or legal office environment preferred.

  • Ability to adapt quickly, work independently and as part of a team, and deliver strong customer service.

  • High cultural intelligence; comfortable building relationships virtually across a global organization.
