Full job description

Monitor and control the operation of computer system consolesAnalyze and escalate reported issues coordinating resolutionPerform data halls tasks, upon request:Securing access to the UDC Austin data centersTier 1 technical assistance for customers (hard drive swaps, crash cart connections, power cycle systems)Escort UT personnel and vendors in data hallsData Center site checksReceive and ship parts/equipment and provide media destruction services for UDC customers. Data Center surplus is also removed and delivered on an as-needed basisAdministrative tasks and adherence:Respond to and fulfill job tasks within established Service Level AgreementsMaintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157 in order to drive on- and off-campus utilizing University-owned vehicles.Email, project work, meetings and trainingStrict adherence to attendance and punctuality for assigned shiftPerform other related functions as assigned.
