About the Position: This position is located at the Security Operations Training Facility (SOTF) in Fort Bragg, NC.
Duties
- Serves as the senior program manager over assigned programs of record for advanced technology development and acquisition and sustainment.
- Provides administrative program direction for all organization manpower, force structure, budget, and special staff requirements.
- Acts as the command’s senior civilian, responsible for compliance with the unique requirements of the civilian personnel systems.
- Supervises assigned primary and special staff directorates, and serves as the second and higher level supervisor for those directorates.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in 1. Directing multi-year programs of record for advanced technology development, acquisition, or system sustainment. 2. Designing long-range Program Objective Memorandum (POM) strategies, budget allocations, or force structure plans at the enterprise level. 3. Executing strategic civilian talent acquisition, development, and retention programs across an organization. 4. Serving as a second-level supervisor to evaluate subordinate supervisors, resolve administrative grievances, and approve organizational position descriptions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Leadership Manages Human Resources Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a General Administration and Management Career Program position aligned under the Human Capital & Resource Management (HC/RM) Career Management Directorate. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest.
