Your Responsibility
As a FT PV&V Engineer - Machine Evaluation/Electrical for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque , IA , you will be:

Lead machine evaluation activities for full tree forestry products, including performance tuning, validation, and troubleshooting.

Plan and execute PVV test requirements for PDP programs, including test needs, machine requirements, instrumentation, and schedule inputs.

Perform ISO testing and machine measurements, ensuring results are documented clearly and accurately.
-
Support field validation through machine operation, customer visits, direct customer interaction, and coordination with field teams.
-
Lead and support Electrical PVV activities for full tree forestry products.
-
Coordinate component evaluation and documentation with global partners.
-
Support hydraulics, structures, and other PVV engineers with machine setup, test execution, and troubleshooting.

Travel up to 25%.

What Skills You Need
-
3 or more years of product experience in off-road equipment.
-
Experience planning, executing, and documenting machine evaluation or product validation tests.
-
Experience operating and evaluating off-road equipment in lab, field, or customer environments.
-
General knowledge of hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical/electronic systems.
-
Proven experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams.
-
Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
What Makes You Standout

Experience with planning test requirements for PDP programs.

Experience with ISO machine testing, machine measurements, or standardized product validation procedures.
-
Experience with machine performance tuning, productivity evaluation, or customer application testing.

Experience working directly with customers, field teams, or dealer/service teams.

Experience documenting test results and recommendations in Vision, or similar validation/reporting systems.

Experience working with suppliers on component-level testing.

Experience with forestry products and their operation.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.
